Project Coordinator | May 2024 - Present
At Snap Install, I manage the installation of digital signage devices. My client commissions Snap Install to complete a specific job, which I schedule with a field engineer within the Snap Install network. Scheduling involves clear communication and negotiation of payment with the field engineers. On the day of the installation, I ensure deliverables are met by the field engineer and that the product is operating correctly for affiliate marketing.
Snap Install provides me with opportunities to challenge my strengths and work on my weaknesses. Specifically, I have become more detail-oriented due to the amount of information that is carried throughout the job. I have also learned how to handle sensitive information and communicate effectively with a client for the success of each individual job and the account as a whole.
Social Media & Communications Intern | May 2023 - October 2023
LifeSource allowed me to utilize my knowledge in content creation and marketing strategy. On the communications team, I was tasked with enhancing external communication through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. I pitched and piloted a campaign, “100 questions”, to provide a solution to limited visibility of information about deceased organ, tissue, and eye donation and ultimately increase donor registration.
Throughout my internship, content presence and engagement were increased through consistency in post frequency and targeting. Targeting through SEO and keywords was vital when adapting the TikTok algorithm to support the content included in each video. It was beneficial to see how content performs differently on each platform depending on if the post targeted pathos or logos.
Onsite Property Manager | May 2022 - October 2022
Through Cities Management, I assisted in onboarding an incoming townhome association in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As the Onsite Property Manager, I oversaw access devices, service calls, and building maintenance. I experienced working with unit owners and renters through an abrupt transition period. I learned effective skills to enhance customer relationship management by establishing effective lines of communication to address their wants and needs.
I grew in my professional confidence through assisting in conducting an annual association board meeting. As an incoming association for Cities Management, the board meeting was vital to establish a professional and confident image of the property management team. I had the opportunity to showcase my interpersonal communication skills to introduce my role in the success of the association.
Digital Marketing Intern | June 2022 - December 2022
At the Office for Student Affairs, I ran the digital marketing accounts for the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. FSL oversees the respective Greek Life organizations at the University of Minnesota. I tailored content to increase transparency and education of students opportunities in a Greek Life organization. Overall, we saw an increase in the social media following and engagement through creating original digital content showcasing the unique and diverse community and advertising events for prospective students, greek life members, and alumni.
I also participated in student orientation tabling events. This allowed me to use my soft skills of adaptability and active listening to tailor each conversation with incoming students to reflect the welcoming nature of the Greek Life community they have the opportunity to be involved in.
